What’s in a Name?
Housed beneath one of Portland’s historic gathering spaces, Voysey blends old-world character with modern celebration. The historic Orient Lodge #17 building carries over a century of Portland history — from fraternal halls and social clubs to today’s immersive speakeasy-style event venue.
Rich with atmosphere, candlelit charm, and a sense of discovery, Voysey was designed for unforgettable nights, intimate celebrations, elevated afterparties, and experiences your guests will talk about long after the evening ends.
The space takes its name from Charles Francis Annesley Voysey, the influential English architect, furniture designer, and textile artist known for his role in the Arts and Crafts movement. The historic building itself serves as an homage to Voysey’s work and aesthetic sensibility. His early career focused on wallpaper, textile, and furnishing design characterized by clean lines, thoughtful craftsmanship, and timeless pattern work which you will see modeled throughout the space.

No venue fees.
Yeah, you read that right. Venue fees are waived with qualifying bar minimum packages.
We want your investment to go towards the experience, not a rental line item. Our pricing is based on beverage minimums only.
It's unmarked so unless you know that's where you want to go, you might miss it. It's pretty cool though, and I like the environment.
